Over time, I have written a handful of poems that deal with sensitive issues- abuse, harassment, depression, self-harm, etc. This series of poems has a common thread throughout them, playing with this idea that we are broken people.
I find that brokenness beautiful, because what comes from it can be simply incredible. This is not meant to be merely for entertainment, facing hard topics, it is intended to be inspirational, to allow for encouragement and hope.
